A Faithful Journey - Mission Accomplished!

Today, my sweet daddy went to Heaven to meet our Lord.

I've been flooded with emotions in the last 8 hours. He was a special, special man who loved his family, his friends, his faith, and his Father. What a blessing.

For the past months in the hospital he was just saying he wanted to go home, then last week we got to bring him home. Then today...he got to GO HOME!

His journey inspired so many people.

Journey complete - mission accomplished - GOD IS GOOD!

Oh, how we love Bob! He was such an encouragement for both of us in different ways. Right now I'm remembering him as the proud grandparent at our Singalot concert. He took me aside and said that he was thrilled L was chosen to sing a special high part on one song. He loved his girls! All of you!

We loved him too! I loved how he wasn't afraid to say what needs to be said and be real with you.
